What is Drupal?
Drupal is a content management system (CMS). It allows you to create and manage content on your website. It's open source software which means it's free.
University Information Services (UIS) offers a managed Drupal website service. We host and manage Drupal sites for departments and institutions across the University. These sites all use the University web templates.
The main Cambridge University website www.cam.ac.uk runs on Drupal (the homepage and news pages use different styling that we cannot replicate). Most central divisions including Finance and HR also use our Drupal website service.

Requesting a new Drupal site
Any University institution, College, or central division can request a new UIS-managed Drupal site.
We do not support websites for students or student groups.
